Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. Our wedding guestbook was in the five piece set we bought and it was a gorgeous claret color, with a place for signatures, gift list and certain keepsakes. The guest book comes in handy for making out your thank you cards, and it’s nice to have a record of everyone that shared that day with you. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
I guess most of our guests really like the unique candle wedding favors we chose for their thank you gifts, some of them expressed their appreciation. So, I guess I made the right choice. As we were leaving for our honeymoon, many of the guests wished us well and told us they had a great time at our reception. This day in my life, I will always remember and cherish.
