I Love Theme Wedding Favors!
Posted by World Music Net in themed wedding on December 4th, 2009
I love attending a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was a country western themed ceremony.
A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They made such a handsome couple. After the ceremony the bride and groom left the church in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was absolutely perfect. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They had things for the children to do so they could have as good a time as the grown ups. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. It was the perfect novelty topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. There were also adorable little cowboy hats were the place card holders for every guest. Everyone thought they were so cute.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. It was a great country western themed reception.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. On my wedding day, I want to have a wedding ceremony just like this one.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous summer dresses and the groomsmen wore drawstring pants and linen shirts. Her gorgeous crepe bridal dress was as blue as the ocean waters, and his white linen attire made him even more handsome than he already was. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
The reception was something special too. The reception tables were decorated with gorgeous beach themed accessories. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding decorations she had put together. This was truly a wedding and reception to remember.
Wedding Themes!

I really like a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. Last weekend I went to a fantastic wedding and reception. It was all done in a country western motif.
They chose a small country church to hold the wedding ceremony. The church was beautifully decorated with satin ribbon and bows, flowers and candles. With the flowered hair pieces and the lovely baby blue dresses the bridesmaids and flower girl looked spectacular. The groomsmen and ring boy looked quite handsome in their tuxes with little white boutonnieres in their lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They made such a handsome couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. Everything was fantastic. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. There were strings of white christmas lights all around the picnic tables, with a few old fashioned lanterns here and there. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect novelty topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. There were also adorable little cowboy hats were the place card holders for every guest. Everyone thought they were so cute.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was plenty of great food to choose from. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. It was a great country western themed reception.
A beach themed reception is another great party to go to. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. This was definitely a dream come true wedding ceremony.
Their reception was more than elegant too. Everything for her table décor had something to do with the oceanside. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Each and every guest had adorable little seashell place card holders, and champagne glasses with beach themed decorations on the stems.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding invitations that worked perfectly. This was truly a wedding and reception to remember.
The Search For Summer Wedding Invitations!
Posted by World Music Net in summer wedding on December 3rd, 2009
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.
I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.
In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I mainly concentrated on the decorations for our wedding table and the reception tables. With the beautiful background of the park as our main décor, all I really needed besides table settings were a few extra flowers here and there. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful, they looked like the real deal. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. You want to make sure you have plenty of citronella candles scattered about, and that the rest rooms are within walking distance, and make sure your frosting on your cake doesn’t melt in the heat.
There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as a summer wedding favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.
I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.
Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we celebrate one of our anniversaries with a wedding renewal, I want to have it in a gorgeous park again.
Choosing the Right the wedding album!

I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. I started with our beach themed wedding invitations. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. I picked out a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress made of satin and lace with beautiful little beads scattered around it, in a knee length.
The bridesmaids wore lovely little linen halter beach dresses with a crocheted bodice covering. My handsome groom wore a sky blue linen shirt and white linen pants and his groomsmen wore white linen shirts with sand colored linen pants. Our flower girl wore an adorable little sundress and the ringboy stayed nice and cool in his little khaki shorts and white cotton shirt. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
I wish now, with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two albums for wedding, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I was sure to let the photographer know I wanted plenty of photos of our vow exchange under our satin canopy and lovely flowered arch. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. There were so many other beach themed accessories to choose from, along with our gorgeous wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. I think our friends and family thought they were cute, I know I did. I also found the perfect beach wedding favors for our friends and family. The little tea lights I chose were in the shape of miniature sand castles and to help them keep the memory of our wonderful beach reception. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.
A lot of our friends and family made comments about out lovely reception décor. To help add to the atmosphere, I also bought some of their beautiful gel candles and placed them on all the tables, along with a few tiki torches here and there. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. It couldn’t have been a more perfect dream wedding and reception, with the gorgeous ocean as our background and the warm sand under our feet.
Now I sit here and relive that wonderful day by enjoying all the photos I have in our beautiful beach the wedding album.
I found some great deals on new wedding invitations!
Posted by World Music Net in wedding favors on December 3rd, 2009
Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.
There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It seems like a great way to escape for all the friends and family. There are also a great new favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.
My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. At first I thought that idea was just a little out there, but the more we got into the actual planning, the more I liked it. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They had a style of there own. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new wedding invitations for her guests.
It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. After hearing all this I knew I had to go to the store and get blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat so that I could join in the fun and excitement. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.
The best new weddings I’ve seen in a while!

Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. I found so many different decorations and every kind of embellishment you could think of on the internet. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. To me you should plan a wedding in the winter at a resort that has all the amenities to help everybody stay warm.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. When I got married, a long, long time ago, about the only options we had, was the traditional wedding, a justice of the peace or elopement. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. You can find a new favor for all your wedding planning from a customary wedding to an out of town wedding
My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They looked stylished and fashionable. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new favors for her guests.
It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This is going to be a wedding to remember and will be talked about for years to come. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.
The Search For Summer Wedding Ideas!
Posted by World Music Net in wedding favors on December 2nd, 2009
Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. I could have had our wedding ceremony on the beach, with a fun filled beach party reception, or an elegant garden party, but I chose a ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.
Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.
In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. There are some spectacular summer wedding favors, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.
There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding theme. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.
I saw this cake topper when I was checking out all the wedding accessories they had to offer, and I knew this was the topper I wanted. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. What a wonderful momento of our wedding day. All of our guests were so impressed with our topper, they couldn’t stop talking about it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.
It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Thank goodness the weather stayed perfect throughout the entire ceremony and reception and we never had to put plan B into action. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
Do your research before choosing wedding party favors!
Posted by World Music Net in wedding favors on December 2nd, 2009
It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would love a tropical island wedding. But I had to give that plan up, too many people wouldn’t be able to travel that far.
There were other ideas too, like a gorgeous winter theme ceremony. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So my decision was made. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. After the ceremony everyone started shouting and throwing red and white rose petals our way. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I had every wedding party favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I can’t believe all the accessories I was able to get for my fairy tale reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. A friend of ours told us it was the most fantastic dream wedding she’s ever seen. I have to admit, it was quite special. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. I made sure their wedding gifts were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.
Custom Bell Weddings!
Posted by World Music Net in wedding bells on December 1st, 2009
There was the sound of wedding bells, the tossing of rose petals, and the traditional run for the limo while friends and family cheered us on. That’s the way our ceremony went. There was such a wonderful collection of accessories to help plan our wedding and make our ceremony so perfect. With all the exceptional accessories and supplies at my disposal there was no way this wedding and reception wouldn’t be a success.
Starting with the invitations and ending with the perfect little thank you gifts, they had it all. Our invitations were quite lovely with the silver printing on the front. I also ordered from this fantastic choice of accesssories, the ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, which came as a set. It came in a beautiful garnet, and there was also a guestbook and pen set, and a very lovely wedding garter. All five pieces of wedding accessories at a very reasonable price.
There were a lot of other items I ordered too, like my lovely aisle runner for the church ceremony. I’m really glad we went with wedding bell favor. After we were pronounced man and wife, everyone at the ceremony rang their little bells as we walked back down the aisle. I really liked the idea of the bell ringing.
I didn’t just order things for my ceremony, I also ordered everything I needed for our reception too. There was a marvelous selection of reception accessories to pick from. I have this thing for shiny things, and I found a lot of crystal glassware, including beautiful champagne flutes for our reception tables. I chose the bride and groom toasting set for us and champagne flutes with elegant twisted stems for our friends and family. The wedding bells favors I picked out not only helped to add the sparkle I wanted for my tables, but served as a wedding favor for each of our guests.
I could have bought every gorgeous item they had on their list, but I think I would have been overdoing it just a little. Glass coasters was our choice of wedding favor gifts for our guests. They had a lovely calla lilie design on them that was absolutely beautiful. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The silver favor boxes, along with all the other accessories on the tables, really added to the décor. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.
The wedding cake we had set up at the end of the reception hall was really spectacular. Chocolate and cherries three tiers high with a very lovely cake topper resting on top. Our topper was really exquisite, with calla lilies and a beautiful ribbon, tied in a bow. Everything at our reception turned out to be perfect. We had so many photos of the wedding ceremony and reception that I went back online and ordered a second wedding photo album. We have quite a few pictures of the the cake cutting and sharing of the first piece. There is the most adorable picture of our little flower girl dancing with the very elegant ring boy, our bride and grooms first dance together, and all of our guests having a great time on the dance floor.
I’m so glad everyone had such a wonderful time, and I received so many compliments on the decorations of the wedding and reception. I plan on having another wedding ceremony and reception for our anniversary one year and I was so glad to hear that my wonderful husband thinks that’s a fantastic idea.
The Wedding Bell!
Posted by World Music Net in wedding bells on December 1st, 2009
The wedding bells rang, rose petals were being tossed and our friends and family were yelling their congratulations as we left the church for our limo ride to the reception. That’s how it was on our wedding day. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful and everything turned out just like I wanted it, thanks to all the super accessories I was able to get. There was everything for to pull off the perfect wedding ceremony and reception.
Everything from the lovely invitations to the fantastic party favors for our guests was in their wonderful collection of wedding supplies. The silver print was a lovely touch to our invitations. I found a lovely ring pillow and flower basket set that I also ordered from them. It came in a beautiful garnet, and there was also a guestbook and pen set, and a very lovely wedding garter. All five pieces of wedding accessories at a very reasonable price.
They also had an aisle runner I really liked, so I ordered that to my list of wedding supplies. The process of selecting wedding bell decoration was really a great one. As soon as the wedding ceremony ended and we were leaving the church all the guests rang their little bells in celebration of our union. It was really a unique idea.
I bought accessories online for our reception as well as our ceremony. There were all kinds of wonderful ideas for our wedding reception. I wanted our reception tables to shine with elegance, so the first thing I ordered were the crystal toasting flutes. There were twisted stemmed flutes which I ordered for our guests and a special toasting flute set I ordered especially for the bride and groom for our table. The wedding bell favors I picked out not only helped to add the sparkle I wanted for my tables, but served as a wedding favor for each of our guests.
It was hard not to order all they had to offer in the way of accessories but I restrained myself for fear of over decorating. We gave out glass coasters as wedding favors for our friends and family. They were specially designed with a calla lilie on each one. I found the perfect little silver favor boxes with thank you tags to package the wedding favors in. The wedding favors in their little silver boxes made our tables even more elegant. I purchased flowers and ordered some beautiful candles to make into our centerpieces for the reception tables.
On a smaller table at the of our long table, was our fantastically designed wedding cake. Three tiers of luscious chocolate and cherries with a gorgeous wedding cake topper as the crowning glory. Our topper was really exquisite, with calla lilies and a beautiful ribbon, tied in a bow. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding and reception. I had to go back online where I bought our wedding album and puchase a second album for all the pictures that were taken at the wedding and reception. There were several pictures of us cutting the wedding cake and feeding that first piece to each other. There were also pictures of our first dance together as man and wife, our guests on the dance floor and an adorable picture of the flower girl and ring boy dancing together.
The compliments I got from our guests on our wedding décor was really nice, but it really made me feel good to know that they all had such a great time. Someday I’d like to have a renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary and thank goodness, my husband agrees.
